Meet Taryn and Jo-Anne Taryn Williams is 24 years old and works as a frontline consultant for OVC. Jo-Anne Botes is 21 years old and does voluntary work at Scripture Union. She is currently unemployed although she holds a diploma in Tourism. Both Taryn and Jo-Anne worships at St Phillips, in Kenwyn, Cape Town and they also share the same passion – working with young children. NEWS “A GENERATION RISING UP” – A Conference for all Anglicans, including the youth which will be held in Johannesburg from 3 to 6 October 2012. Sunday Scripture 25 Mar 2012 – Fifth Sunday in Lent OT: Jer 31:31-34 PS: 51:10-17 NT: Heb 5:7-9 Gospel: Jn 12:20-33 Point to Ponder “Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. Do not cast me from your presence or take your Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of your salvation and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me.” Ps 51:10-12. This is what Lent is all about. A journey to the cross where Jesus made it possible for us to find forgiveness of sins and a cleansing unto righteousness. O, that we would cry out for a pure heart, a fresh start and a renewed confidence in our salvation paid for by the blood of Christ.
