Welcome to the AYSA INTERACTIVE Mobi web page. This page will be updated every Saturday so that you have fresh new information every Sunday.
Meet Elsie
My name is Elsie Mahlaela. I am 19 years old and live in Atteridgeville, Pretoria. I worship at the Parish of St Paul which is in the Diocese of Pretoria. I am a trainee accountant at Sizwe Ntsaluba Gobodo and a student at UNISA studying a BCompt Accounting Sciences. I am a very jolly person, love traveling and seeing new places. In my spare time I basically do that. I also spend time with my friends particularly in Church; doing activities that will build me intellectually and physically. I must say, I am a cartoon fan.
NEWS
We praise God for keeping his hand over all the members of the PYC Exco this weekend and giving them travel mercies. Every member could testify how God had granted them His grace to be able to make it to the meeting in Pretoria – against all the odds. Some had taken ill before the meeting, some experienced breakdown of vehicles, some struggled to get leave from work. But, in the end, all could make it, bar one. We give the glory and the honour to Him who gave himself for us, so that we may have life, and life in abundance.
Members of the Executive of Provincial Youth Council individually signed a declaration subscribing to the Pastoral Standards of the Anglican church as set out in Act XV of Provincial Synod.
The AYSA Web site has been revamped and upgraded. Please visit it at www.aysa.org.za and give us some feedback. We are always open to your suggestions. Let us know what is missing or what else you would like to see.
“A GENERATION RISING UP” – A Conference for all Anglicans, including the youth which will be held in Johannesburg from 3 to 6 October 2012. Watch this space for more information.
UPCOMING EVENTS
Celebration Service – PYC Exec members are attending a Service in Atteridgeville in Pretoria today and will be encouraging the young people to get involved in God’s work. They will also be holding a short tree planting ceremony after the service.
If you have any events you want us to post, then please email us on anglicanyouthsa@gmail.com.
PRAYERS Pray that young people will have the wisdom and courage to say NO to drugs and other substance abuse. Don’t succumb to the pressures of this world. Release yourself to the healing power of Jesus and let him restore you to fullness of being.
ACTION 4 U: Send us a picture of yourself and a short overview (name, where you live, your Parish name, what you do for a living, what you do for fun, etc.) as in the FEATURE above, and you may be featured in the near future. Also, send us information about your Diocesan and Parochial events and we will publish them for you.

2 Kings 5:1-14

Point to Ponder
Young people can bring about change in the lives of older persons – contrary to common belief. Do not be scared to speak out what God lays on your heart. Bless others with your knowledge and wisdom and be bold in proclaiming the Kingdom of God with confidence. (2 Kings 5:2-3)
